I have been spending a lot more time on Facebook lately.  Maybe it has something to do with all these fb frenzies:)  Do you like fb frenzies?  I do.  It is kind of addicting to be quite honest.  I have to check myself...there are so many freebies - it can be kind of overwhelming at times.  I still have not made it through the fb frenzy this month:)  Have you been over there lately?  If you haven't now is the time to go check it out.  There is a frenzy for every grade level this time AND clip art.  BUT, it is over tomorrow at 8pm, so don't procrastinate.  Click on the picture below to find out all the details.  If you stop by my fb page - please leave a comment- I would love to give you a virtual hug for stopping by...

New "FREE BEE" Frenzy!

I am popping in here for a quick hello:)

I just made it back from Panama City and I am tired! 

(It is a 7 hour drive from where I live...& the Panama Canal was awesome- I promise I will share soon!!!)

For now I wanted to let you all know there is another FB Frenzy! Can you believe it...these things are the new rage:) This is my freebie...

This Frenzy will be active from today Thurs. Oct. 24 until Sat. Oct. 26, 2013 at 8pm EST.  Click on any of the pictures to hop over to facebook to get started!

Oct. Facebook Frenzy - Freebies for everyone!

This Friday - Monday!!!

Q:What is the 'Frenzy?'

A:Several TpT (Teachers Pay Teachers)  Authors and Clip Artists have teamed together to offer freebies based on a fall theme.

Q:How Do I Get the Freebies?

A:Look for the 'Fall Frenzy' tab on a participants homepage. When you click it, it will prompt you to 'like' the page to get the freebie. Once you 'like' the page, you will be directed to the freebie. There will also be a picture (pumpkin) to click that will take you to the next stop.

Q:Are the Freebies on TpT?

A:No- not the free download! They are all exclusive to the FB frenzy. Some will be a Google Doc and others in Dropbox.

Q:How many freebies are there?

A:TONS! There are 3 groups- one for K-1, one for 2-3 and one 4-5 plus clip art. Each group has 30-40 participants! Find the hop that best suits what you need and you are all set!

Q:What if a link isn't working? How do I get to the next freebie?

A:All the links were checked and are working great, but if for some reason you get lost, as map of all the 'stops' will be posted for each hop. Find you last stop and then click the link to take you to where you need to go next.

Q:How long can I get the freebies?

A:The hop begins at 8am EST on 10/18/13 and runs until 8pm EST10/21/13. After that all tabs will be uninstalled.

Q:Will there be another frenzy? How will I know when it is?

A:More are definitely in the works, and by 'liking' each page, you will receive posts and updates to future frenzys and events!

Q:Do I have to start at a certain spot?

A:No! You can start on any of the participants pages and it will link you all the way through! The 3 hops are not linked together, though, so if you want to do more than one hop, you will need to find a participant in each hop to begin at.

5 For Friday Freebies and a Petroglyph Family Friendly Field Trip (Panama)

1. Petroglyphs!

This last week we went on a fun field 

trip to Nancito, Panama and other 

hidden but local petroglyph sites - The 

kids had loads of fun!  Petroglyphs in

Panama are a common occurrence

Anthropologists don't exactly understand 

their meaning but some have a 

lunar/solar calendar significance.  Others

appear to be types of road signs to 

passing travelers...

We set up a petroglyph station after our

field trips where the kids... 

a: found a soft rock & cleaned it at a

washing station

b: carved a petroglyph style design 

that they learned about or just 

something unique...

c. colored it with chalk pastels!

Eating Healthy local 

Fruit! 

 Finally to end a wonderful day we 

enjoyed our local fruits and learned 

about all the health benefits...
