All the kids made their very own unique snow globe. We went for a little shopping trip to pick out some Christmas ornaments that were on sale. Last time we looked around the house for some cute toys and came up with quite a few. Toddler plastic toys work great. Unfortunately there aren't any toddlers around anymore. They grow up so quick.
Anywho, here are some things to consider when thinking about what kind of snowglobe scene you would like to create. First make sure to use plastic and something that isn't affected by water (no paper). Second bring your jar with you when you go shopping to make sure your toy fits inside the jar. We ended up choosing some really cute snowmen.
Here is what you will need:
jars (1 per child)
glitter
toy or plastic miniature to make scene (MUST fit in lid)
hot glue gun
water
artificial snow (optional)
