The Kindergarten Pod Product Swap & A Giveaway!

(The link up starts Sat. April 20 at 7 pm EST)
This is my first product swap, hosted by Jessica Stanford! I was matched with Lori from The Kindergarten Pod.  I  am so excited to be able to participate...my kids are too:)

 Lori is a Kindergarten teacher and author of the blog The Kindergarten Pod. The product I chose to review, is one of her best selling items in her store on TPT;
Kindergarten Morning Work - Part II

I chose this pack because of the progression of skills it introduces with each page.  Each page progresses to the next number and to the next skill to be reviewed.  This product contains morning work for January through May and is intended to use 3 days per week. It includes 63 pages!

The skills included in this product are:

* Sight Word writing practice (Dolch Sight Word List)

* ABC Order

* Scrambled Sight Words

* Beginning & Ending sounds

* Short vowel sounds

* Rhyming Words

* Word Families

* Sentence Editing

* Number Writing Practice

* Coin names, values and counting

* Symmetry

* Shape Attributes

* Simple addition/subtraction with a number line

* Counting by 2s, 5s and 10s

* Probability

* Hundreds Chart counting

* Time to the Hour

......and much, much more!

She also has a Part I that you can find in her store!

Kindergarten Morning Work - Part I

We used the individual pages for independent work

 and for school work with BIG Brother!

Sometimes working with your Big Brother is a little bit more motivating!

These morning worksheet printables were super easy to use. I just printed them out and filed them so they were ready to be used at any given time.  Then, I just pulled out the sheet of the day.

 One day my little guys wanted to make their own little books ...

so we just printed out our pages in  booklet form!

 These would work great for Kindergarten and/or First Grade. They would be great for assessing your little guys to see how much they know and what type of intervention they might need. I love how they cover multiple subjects and are so easy to use! If your looking for a great start to your day, while those little minds are fresh - this definitely is a great way to start!

Thank you Lori for creating such wonderful Good Morning Worksheets that are sooo easy to use!

Be sure to check out Lori's blog for informative and interesting posts! Click on her blog button below to hop over and say Hi!

Don't forget to stop by her store and follow her! She has a lot of great products and FREEBIES too! My favorite is her Word Hunt Freebie!

The Answers...

Last week I participated in a Linky Party the game was "2 truths and a lie"
These were my 3...

1.  My mom wears combat boots and rides a motorcycle ( well she did about 15 years ago:)

2. When I was a teenager my friends and I jumped off bridges by the ocean for fun.

3.  When I was 18 a friend of mine and I climbed up to the top of a oil pump rig in the desert.

Well what do you think?  Which one do you think is not true?  I hope you join in, I've been smiling the whole time I've been typing this:)

1.  Yes that's my mommy, a military veteran - she probably would still ride a motorcycle if she could!
2.  Yes...my friends and I did that in sunny California around the Seal Beach area:)
3.  Nope...wanted to but never did!  Some of you got it right:)  (My mother - in - law knows me better than I thought - lol (((hugs - Toni)))

So this week went by really fast...

1.  I got organized with this

Product Details

I feel so much better now that all my printed papers are organized!

2.  We found some colored eggs at the store (YEA!!!) I thought I would never find them...I don't know why Panama doesn't have them!  I don't think they do the colored egg thing...

 The younger kids and I did some pinterest inspired math:)

3.  and then I created something for the older kids...

I love all the colored egg ideas out there!  What are you doing with your colored eggs this year?

4.  My little  hijita and I went out for breakfast to our favorite little place for her birthday and then we went shopping...she picked out a beautiful dress and coat...it's going to get cold here soon...it has already started raining again!

Almost Done

5.  I added a new etsy store link on my blog and facebook!  A lot of Indian Art...you can check it out here -  PanamaArt.

These are my favorites...what do you like?

I'm joining a Linky Party today - Hall Pass -What a great idea!

Product-
 My favorite product of mine this week is...Fun Word Families! (  this one is kid inspired:)  It was their idea to turn them into hats and use keyboards to " type write"!  Oh, how I wish I was close to a Goodwill here where the keyboards and typewriters were $1...I would get them each a keyboard, typewriter, or word processor!  What a fun way to learn to read!

Area-

Outside...I love Field Trips! I'm definitely a field trip teacher.   I think they learn the most outside seeing something new and inquiring about it:)

little fruit bat

cotton candy caterpillar

Signal-

Music...turn the music on & I've got every one's attention!  It always changes the tone of the day or the pace:)  Now to either get a tape player...I know they are outdated...or figure out how to get all those songs into a modern piece of equipment:)

Sanity-

Mommy day outs!  Alone, coffee, & shopping....so relaxing:)
