Day out to Used Bookstore near Boquete

Yesterday we went to a really neat bookstore.

I have to say it made my day:)

Emilcar, who works there was very friendly & helpful - Pura Vida style:)

Who doesn´t love flipping through books?
This bookstore is a dream come true living in Central America...
it´s the only one between here and the U.S., could that be true.?
I was told they have over 30,000 books!

They are very well organized too.
They have a classical section ( my favorite - with Edgar Allan Poe & Ethan

Frome), children´s section, cooking, animals, fiction, non-fiction, science Fiction, & more!

We found all the books we needed - some picture books, homeschool books, and a Panama Bird Book!

This is definitely a very family friendly place...easy for kids to find a book to read while parents are  looking!

...They also have  outside area to sit & read

We´ll definitely be back with books to exchange

  1. Hi Dinah ~ I love all the pictures on your blog. I especially enjoyed the picture of the book store. We are a family that loves to read and we love being surrounded by good books. We don't believe you can ever have too many! I hope you enjoy your new "book hang out" spot. God bless!

  2. Thanks Ronda:) It´s almost time for me to go through all our books again...sometimes there is not enough room for them all:) Well - it probably didn´t help that I was at the Biblioteca book sale yesterday & brought home another bag full of books:)

May you be blessed today & enocuraged too..
